I had six prints accepted into this prestigious
exhibition this year. Annually they only accept 202 prints for exhibition out of several thousand images submitted. The acceptance
rate this year was 9%, so I was delighted to have done so well.

Devon International Exhibition. These were: - Umbrella Man

I must confess to a little laziness, as I have
not been submitting work to many international exhibitions this year. Perhaps I have been too preoccupied with arranging my
own solo exhibitions in Dundee and Glenrothes? However I was delighted to hear that five of my photos were accepted for the
Scottish International Salon this summer. They were:- - Calla Abstract in Blue
- Leaf Trio
- Leaf on the Pavement
- Out of the Dead Land
- Single

SCOTTISH PHOTOGRAPHIC FEDERATION PORTFOLIO 2013

I had five images accepted this year. Of these
"Gun Play" was my favourite. It gained 13 out of a possible 15 marks.
MIDLANDS INTERNATIONAL SALON 2013

I had seven images accepted in the Midlands Salon
this year. Umbrella Man was one of several that gained 13 out of 15 possible marks.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 2013

"Headscape" and "Red Lincoln Continental" were
both accepted into this exhibition organised by the four major Southern California Camera Clubs.

I had three images accepted for the South Devon
Salon this year. These included "Umbrella Man", "Out of the Dead Land" and "Waiting for the Tide".
WELSH INTERNATIONAL SALON 2012
I was very pleased to hear that seven of my projected digital images were
accepted in this international competition. This includes "Physalis" which had not been previously exhibited at this level.

EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 2012
I was recently advised that
one of my prints ("Sails in the Mist") has been accepted for Edinbugh International Exhibition this year. This is the 150th
anniversary of this exhibition. Annually just 200 prints are accepted from about 3,000 entries. The number of submissions
increased significantly in this anniversary year, so I am very pleased indeed to have had a print accepted.

"A Fading Memory" was awarded a Photographic Society
of America Gold Medal in the open section of this new international exhibition.

"A Fading Memory", "Death Becoes Her", "Ill Met by Moonlight"
and "The Blue Wood" were all accepted for exhibition.

"Ill met by Moonlight" was given an "Honorable Mention"
in the Creative section of the Electronic Imaging Division of the Photographic Society of America International Exhibition

LUXEMBOURG (PHOTO CLUB ESCH) SALON 2011
I have just heard that I have several accepatnces in this international exhibition, including a Photographic
Society of America gold medal for "Yellowstone Thermophiles".
This is the second gold medal I have won this week - and I am delighted. It feels a bit like winning
the National Lottery twice in the same week!

I had several images accepted in this series of Indian Salons and one of these gained a Photographic Society
of America Gold Medal for "Best in Show" at Bhopal.

This is a series of four International Salons based in England, Wales and Scotland. I
submitted eight prints, and across the four salons all eight were accepted for exhibition (gaining 22 acceptances in total).
"Two Ponies" won a judge's medal in the Hoylake salon).

Several of my photographs did well in the Scottish Photographic Federaion's Print Portfolio for 2010, including
"Two Leaves" which gained 15 marks (15 is the maximum possible mark, with three judges each marking from 1 to 5). One
other print gained 14 marks. and two prints gained 13 marks.

Three of my images have been accepted for this prestigious Austrian International Salon. They are "Canyon
of Windows", "Last of the Summer Wine", and "Three Pears"
INTER-FIFE COMPETITION 2010
Three of my images gained full marks from the judges in this competition. These were "Walk in the Desert",
"Out in the Cold" and "Untitled Portrait". One mono prnt ("Pladda") gained 19/20 marks, and "Canyon of Windows" gained
18/20 marks in the projected images.
SCOTTISH PHOTOGRAPHIC FEDERATION
"Canyon of Windows" was first exhibited at the SPF Print Portfolio in November 2009, where it was
awarded 12 out of a possible 15 points.

MISSISSIPI VALLEY INTERNATIONAL SALON (ST LOUIS)
"Maquerade" and ""Untitled Portait No 1 (renamed to "Metamorphosis") were accepted for exhibition
in November 2009
DETROIT INTERNATIONAL SALON 2009
"Untitled Portrait No 1" was entered under the title "Metamrphosis" (Selectors don't like the term "untitled"
apparently) and was accepted for exhibition.

25th FIAP PROJECTED IMAGE BIENNIAL
Two of my photographs, "Giaconda" and "Untitled Portrait No.1" were among the 20 photographs selected to
represent Scotland at the 25th FIAP Projected Image Biennial in Malaysia in September. The theme selected by the Scottish
Photographic Federation (SPF) was "Creative Portraiture". In this event Scotland did very well indeed, winning
a silver medal. (Indonesia won the World Cup and Italy was awarded the gold medal).

Eleven of my photographs were accepted for the 2009 Scottish Photographic Federation Portfolio. Of
these "Untitled Portrait No 1" gained a maximum 15/15 judges marks. "Picture on a Wall" (shown below) was

TRIERENBERG SUPER CIRCUIT - May 2009
I was very pleased to hear that I have been awarded three overall acceptances in the Trierenberg Super Circuit.
This Austrian International Exhbition comprises four separate salons. (Of the four photographs that I submitted, three were
accepted in three of the salons, and two photographs were accepted in the fourth salon). "Remember Me" was one of
the photographs accepted.

In addition I also had three overall acceptances in the Austrian Special Themes Circuit 2009. These were
for digital images submitted in the Experimental section. (Of the four photographs that I submitted, three
were accepted in two of the salons, and two photographs were accepted by other two salons).

"A walk in the desert" gained 15 out of a possible 15 points in the Pessac Salon. It was one of
four of my prints that were accepted. "Untitled Portrait No 1" gained 14 points and won a judge's ribbon.

November "Tea with my Father" was given a judges award and won a bronze medal.

which gained 14 out of a possible `5 points and gained a judge's award and bronze medal.
