This picture of Dundee and the Tay Road Bridge was taken for a private commission. A customer wanted to use a photograph like this for an illustration in a commercial booklet showing how attractive North Fife is. This photograph was taken on tight deadline one Monday evening in early March - the last good evening for a fortnight! Rarely have I seen the Tay this calm and this beautiful. The low sunlight from the west has also transformed the bridge into a golden ribbon and dark shadows hide the bridge repairers' graffitti-like paint marks.
